Questions, answered

What is yoga?

The word yoga means “to join or yoke together”. Yoga brings the body and mind together into one harmonious experience.

Do I need any experience to join a class?

No. Beginner and open-level classes run at every branch, and our Asana Yoga classes are structured so adults of any age can learn progressively.

How often should I practise?

Those pursuing mastery or training to teach may practise six days a week. If you are working on specific body patterns, aim for several times a week. Otherwise, practise at your own pace.

Is yoga a whole-body workout?

Yoga is a practice rather than just a workout. Postures tone the inner and outer systems of the body, while pranayama and meditation help balance the mind.

What should I wear?

Non-binding, stretchy clothing. Breathable fabrics such as cotton, bamboo and wool work best — and dress in layers for the temperature.

Do I need to book?

Yes — students are asked to pre-book their classes. Message us on WhatsApp or call your branch.
