Yoga is and always will be individualistic.
Any effort to contain it like a dogma or fanaticism will fade away as eventually some practitioners will have that creative awakening within and find the truth.
Their discovery will inspire others naturally and the true essence of yoga will awaken again. This happens in every era — in different environments, settings and locations. Like a cycle it propels when the time comes.
When the true teachings are forgotten and the practitioners become ignorant, thinking it’s the body that needs to be glorified, led by the motivation for superficial gains, then the essence will make its presence felt somewhere through some genuine, fearless seekers, and the uniqueness of yoga can be experienced again.
One finds oneself, and this can only be a solo, unique inner journey, or experience.
